Our People
We are committed to involving and developing our own people so they can flourish in the honey industry as we grow our business. We are
working for the long-term to build an industry for Ruatahuna that utilises our own resources and the talents of our people for many generations to
come. Brenda Tahi leads our team as CEO, and Wenarata Morehu provides support. Below, on the left, beekeepers Nick Mitai and Te Uamairangi
Rangihau make hiveware, and on the right, Kirituia Tumarae (Researcher) and Kerewai Morunga (Business Development Manager) deal with
matauranga (traditional knowledge) about gathering wild honey.
